Our client is a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their high-performing payroll team. This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working across complex payrolls.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and compliant end-to-end payroll processing across Australia and New Zealand. Working within a large payroll function, you'll utilise Chris21 while partnering with HR, Finance and key stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy, legislative compliance and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll across Australia and New Zealand.
- Process new starters, terminations, leave, allowances and payroll adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation.
- Respond to complex payroll queries and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Complete payroll reconciliations, reporting and month-end activities.
- Maintain accurate employee records within Chris21.
- Contribute to payroll process improvements and system enhancements.
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience within a medium to large organisation.
- Experience processing Australian and New Zealand payrolls.
- Strong experience using Chris21.
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, EBA's and superannuation.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with payroll reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
