We're recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor to support a portfolio of commercial, public sector and industrial clients across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in risk assessment who wants to develop their expertise and progress within a growing business.

The Job
• Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments across a variety of client sites throughout London and the South East.
• Assess domestic hot and cold-water systems and other water systems in line with current legislation and guidance.
• Produce clear, detailed and technically robust risk assessment reports.
• Identify compliance issues and provide practical recommendations for remedial actions and risk reduction.
• Create and update schematic drawings to accurately reflect water system layouts.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, explaining findings and recommendations clearly and professionally.
• Manage your own diary and workload, travelling between sites while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
• Support ongoing compliance programmes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor or within the water hygiene industry.
• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
• Experience producing or interpreting schematic drawings of water systems.
• Understanding of domestic hot and cold-water systems; experience with cooling towers or other water systems would be advantageous.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organised and capable of working independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based within approximately one hour of Central London.
Particularly Interested In Candidates With:
• 2+ years' Legionella Risk Assessment experience.
• Strong knowledge of HSG274 Parts 1, 2 and/or 3.
• Experience assessing cooling towers, process water systems, water features or other specialist systems.
• Understanding of HTM 04-01 guidance (advantageous but not essential).
• Membership of, or engagement with, relevant industry bodies such as the Water Management Society.
