Finishes / Fit Out Foreman

Design & Build are currently seeking an experienced Finishes Foreman to join a major construction project in Western Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Finishes Foreman with a strong background in commercial apartment construction, particularly across the final stages of fit-out and finishes.

Working as part of the site team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising finishing trades and ensuring works are delivered to a high standard, on programme and in line with project requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating finishing trades across the project
• Managing apartment fit-out and finishing works through to completion
• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are progressing to programme
• Monitoring quality, workmanship and site presentation
• Conducting inspections and managing defects and rectification works
• Coordinating trades and sequencing works to maintain programme
• Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team
• Ensuring WHS, quality and project standards are maintained

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Finishes Foreman on commercial apartment projects
• Strong knowledge of apartment fit-out and finishing works
• Experience coordinating multiple finishing trades and subcontractors
• A strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control
• The ability to confidently manage trades and drive programme
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Relevant Australian construction experience
