The Role
You'll manage your own portfolio of bookkeeping clients while working closely with the offshore bookkeeping team and internal accounting professionals.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio.
• Processing payroll and managing BAS, IAS, STP, Payroll Tax, TPAR and WorkCover obligations.
• Preparing reconciliations, management reports and financial information.
• Reviewing work to ensure high-quality client outcomes.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and delivering exceptional service.
• Leading client onboarding, bookkeeping file reviews and process improvements.
• Collaborating with the offshore team to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.

About You
To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Experience managing multiple bookkeeping clients within a public practice accounting or bookkeeping firm.
• Strong knowledge of BAS, payroll and statutory compliance obligations.
• Experience using Xero and other cloud accounting platforms.
• Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
• The ability to prioritise work effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
