HSE Coordinator - Civil Construction

Fetch Recruitment are seeking a HSE Coordinator to join our Tier 2 Civil Contractor client on projects throughout Adelaide. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile civil contractor while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
 
This role will include working on a flagship projects within the sub-division, infrastructure, road upgrades and other civil sectors.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement HSE policies and procedures across the project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
• Investigate and report incidents, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future practices.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.

Qualifications, Experience and Must Haves

• Ideally proven experience in a similar HSEQ role, preferably in the civil construction industry.
• Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field. (Certificate 4 in OHS minimum) OR open to completing a Certifiate 4.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HSE standards and legislation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs, alcohol and fitness test.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.
