Packing Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. The Packer will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality and efficiency, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

1st Shift Monday-Friday

Hours: 6am til work is completed

• Must have knowledge on how to measure down to a 16th
• Selecting and packing foam products into appropriate containers/bags based on customer orders or shipping requirements
• Ensuring products are properly labeled and marked with relevant information, such as order numbers, quantities, and destination
• Inspecting products for damage or defects before packaging and ensuring they meet quality standards
• Moving materials within the warehouse or production facility, potentially using equipment like forklifts or pallet jack
• Working with order processing systems to pull and pack products based on customer requests
• Preparing foam for packaging, which might involve cutting, shaping, or otherwise modifying the foam

Experience

• Previous experience in a packing or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a warehouse environment is a plus
