Key Responsibilities:

• Handle sales and use tax filings with efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with various teams on tax compliance requests
• Support general ledger (GL) tasks and assist with month-end close processes
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in sales and use tax compliance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GL functions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with different teams
• Capable of jumping into tasks immediately with minimal training

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in high-growth or public company environments
• Familiarity with accounting software and tax compliance tools
• Prior experience in fast-paced, innovative tech companies

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with sales and use tax focus

Additional Requirements:

• Flexible to work 15-25 hours weekly, with potential to scale up to 40 hours
• Ability to start immediately; interview availability today or tomorrow
• Remote work preferred, with optional onsite presence in Palo Alto
