Business Development Manager - WA

As part of this, the group now wishes to leverage their market position, by appointing a highly motivated client facing professional into the business as WA Business Development Manager. Reporting to the National Commercial Manager, the Business Development Manager – WA will be primarily responsible for growing and maintaining the client base in Western Australia. As part of the execution of the national commercial plan, this will involve one-on-one, on-farm and industry interaction with growers, agronomists and retailers. Using your proven experience gained in technical agronomy, you will tailor precision agricultural solutions for each client, enabling enhanced agronomy decisions, which will deliver increased farm-system efficiencies. This role involves travel to client sites - and candidates are welcome to apply from a metropolitan or regional location in Western Australia.

To be successful in this position, candidates will require the following:

• Client facing experience gained in the Australian broadacre sector (critical)
• A relentless focus on customer experience
• A sound technological knowledge of WA agronomy, soils and/or farming systems
• Experience delivering high-value services
• Excellent time management and communication/presentation skills
• Commercial acumen and an affinity for information technology
• High levels of career motivation
• Relevant qualifications
