Grade 5 Cleaner

Nesco Resource is looking for a Grade 5 Cleaner located in Brookfield, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3PM

Pay: $18/Hour

Job Summary: We are looking for a dependable Cleaner to support daily cleaning and material handling operations in a manufacturing environment. This position involves cleaning machinery, handling cleaning and packing materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals and materials according to established procedures
• Clean, organize, and prepare packing materials and work areas
• Perform frequent bending, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the shift
• Lift and move materials as needed
• Follow safety procedures when working with chemicals and equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently

• Previous cleaning, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following safety procedures
• Ability to repeatedly bend, lift, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Basic to emerging English communication skills required
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Frequent bending, reaching, standing, and walking
• Ability to lift and move materials
• Comfortable working in a physically active manufacturing environment
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and materials
