Fire Alarm Certification & Compliance Coordinator – Contract

Outside IR35 | 6-Month Contract | Immediate Start

I'm currently looking for someone with a background in fire alarm systems to support a national Fire & Security company on a 6-month contract based in Brentwood, Essex.

This is an office-based role focused on reviewing fire alarm certification, checking completed works and ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.

Ideally looking for someone with a good understanding of fire alarm systems, strong computer skills and previous experience working with fire alarm certification.

The role will involve:

• Reviewing and verifying fire alarm certificates
  
  
• Checking completed works and supporting documentation
  
  
• Ensuring certification meets BS 5839 requirements
  
  
• Identifying errors or missing information on certificates
  
  
• Liaising with engineers regarding certification queries
  
  
• Updating and maintaining compliance records
  
  
• Supporting the technical team with general documentation and compliance
  
  

Experience required:

• Previous experience within the fire alarm industry
  
  
• Good understanding of BS 5839
  
  
• Knowledge of fire alarm certification and documentation
  
  
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Experience with fire alarm servicing, commissioning or compliance would be beneficial
  
  
• FIA qualifications advantageous but not essential
  
  

Contract details:

• 6-month contract
  
  
• Outside IR35
  
  
• Monday to Friday
  
  
• Office-based in Brentwood, Essex
  
  
• Day rate negotiable depending on experience
  
  
• Immediate start available
