The Opportunity
An established Tier 1 contractor is continuing the expansion of its long-term data centre programme, with multiple live developments currently under construction across Finland. They are now seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join one of these major projects.
This is a senior site leadership position operating on a rotational working model, responsible for the overall delivery of the electrical scope across a major mission-critical project. As part of the senior project leadership team, you will provide strategic and technical leadership throughout construction, overseeing planning, coordination, installation, quality, safety, commissioning and handover to ensure successful project delivery.
Acting as the senior electrical authority on the project, you will provide leadership across multiple electrical workstreams while working closely with the Project Director, wider project leadership team and specialist subcontractors to achieve programme objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall electrical delivery across a major project from construction through to commissioning and handover.
- Provide leadership, direction and technical support to Electrical Package Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and specialist subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate electrical design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities to ensure safe, efficient and successful project delivery.
- Drive programme performance through effective planning, sequencing, labour management and resource allocation.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, health, safety and environmental performance across all electrical works.
- Work closely with the Project Director, Construction Managers, client representatives, consultants and the wider project team to deliver key programme milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify delivery risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain programme objectives.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, productivity, commercial awareness and technical compliance across all electrical workstreams.
- Lead project coordination meetings, manage multidisciplinary interfaces and ensure actions are effectively tracked through to completion.
- Review technical documentation, construction information, progress reports and project performance to support successful delivery.
You will be an experienced electrical construction leader with a proven track record delivering complex electrical works on major data centre projects or closely related mission-critical construction environments. Comfortable leading multidisciplinary delivery teams, you will possess the technical expertise, commercial awareness and leadership capability to successfully manage large-scale electrical delivery from installation through to commissioning.
Ideally, you will possess:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Lead, Senior Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Project Manager or a comparable site leadership position.
- Strong contractor-side experience delivering major electrical installations within large-scale data centre environments.
- Proven experience leading Electrical Package Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and specialist subcontractors across complex construction projects.
- Excellent understanding of electrical construction methodologies, testing, energisation and commissioning.
- Strong programme management, stakeholder management and commercial awareness.
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive delivery within a fast-paced project environment.
