KC Group are working with a high-growth, global business that is looking to hire a newly qualified Corporate Tax professional into its growing in-house tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from a Top 6 accountancy firm with strong corporate tax compliance experience who wants to move into industry and gain exposure to much more than compliance.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Direct Tax and Direct Tax Manager, supporting a broad UK and international tax agenda across compliance, tax accounting, transfer pricing and wider advisory projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from a Top 6 accountancy firm with strong corporate tax compliance experience who wants to move into industry and gain exposure to much more than compliance.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Direct Tax and Direct Tax Manager, supporting a broad UK and international tax agenda across compliance, tax accounting, transfer pricing and wider advisory projects.
What will you be doing?
- Take responsibility for the UK corporation tax compliance process across approximately 40 legal entities
- Prepare corporation tax computations for the group's larger companies
- Support tax accounting, deferred tax and tax disclosures
- Review overseas corporation tax returns prepared by external providers
- Calculate UK corporation tax payments using business forecasts
- Support Corporate Interest Restriction calculations
- Manage withholding tax treaty claims relating to interest and dividends
- Assist with overseas tax payment tracking
- Deal with corporation tax enquiries from tax authorities
- Get involved in internal restructures, R&D/RDEC claims and capital allowances projects
- Support the preparation and maintenance of UK transfer pricing documentation
- Help develop and improve a more modern, scalable corporate tax compliance process
- ACA / CTA / ATT qualified
- Trained within a Top 6 accountancy firm
- Experienced in corporate tax compliance, ideally across groups
- Comfortable with tax accounting
- Strong technically with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Excel and tax preparation software — Alphatax experience is particularly useful
- A strong communicator who can build relationships with both Finance and wider business teams
- Someone who enjoys responsibility, problem solving and continuous improvement
