The Batcher/Mixer prepares and blends ingredients according to company recipes and production schedules. This role ensures precise measurement of all ingredients, safe operation of equipment, and that products consistently meet quality and food safety standards throughout the production process. Mixers in food manufacturing environments are responsible for combining ingredients according to strict recipes and operating mixing equipment safely while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.
Shift: 10am to 6:00m
Pay: $16.25 ($14.25 Training)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Measure, weigh, and stage ingredients according to batch sheets and approved recipes.

Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet quality specifications.

Assist with equipment setup and changeovers between batches.

Operate industrial mixers, blenders, and related production equipment.

Add ingredients in the correct order and quantities to ensure consistent product quality.

Monitor mixing times, temperatures, and product consistency during production.

Inspect finished mixtures to ensure they meet quality specifications.

Complete required production paperwork and batch records accurately.

Maintain clean and organized mixing areas and equipment.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and sanitation requirements.

Follow all safety procedures and report any mechanical or product issues immediately.

Communicate with production team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met.
Requirements:

Ability to read batch sheets and follow detailed instructions.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate measurements.

Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods 35-40 degrees.
- Ability to work in a cold food-production environment.
- Requires standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motions during shifts.
- May require overtime depending on production needs.
