26034 | Interim Program Director Procurement Transformation


For a global market-leading B2B manufacturer, we are seeking an experienced Interim Program Director to support a strategic change in the company’s manufacturing and sourcing setup. The organization is moving towards a more outsourced and supplier-based production model. This assignment focuses on what this means for Procurement: supplier strategy, sourcing processes, governance, risk management, capabilities and cross-functional ways of working. Working closely with the Procurement Director and senior stakeholders across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial, the Interim Program Director will bring structure, analysis and program discipline to prepare the organization for execution.


Key responsibilities

·      Lead the procurement workstream within a broader manufacturing and sourcing transformation.

·      Assess the impact of changing make-or-buy decisions on procurement strategy, supplier base, processes and organization.

·      Translate the move towards outsourced production into clear procurement requirements and priorities.

·      Identify gaps in supplier management, contracting, governance, risk mitigation and cross-functional cooperation.

·      Build a structured program approach, including milestones, dependencies, risks and required decisions.

·      Support the Global Procurement Director in preparing executive-level recommendations and implementation scenarios.

 

Candidate profile

·      Senior interim professional with strong experience in procurement transformation, sourcing strategy or procurement program management.

·      Background in international B2B manufacturing environments.

·      Strong understanding of outsourcing, contract manufacturing or supplier-based production models.

·      Able to connect Procurement with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial.

·      Structured, analytical and pragmatic, with strong program and stakeholder management skills.

·      Experience with international supplier bases, preferably including Asia.

·      Credible at senior leadership level, while staying close to practical implementation requirements.

 

Assignment Details

·      Approximately 12 months | 4–5 days per week | Eindhoven region
