Senior Project Manager – Technology & Transformation

Brisbane CBD | Hybrid | 12-Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology and business transformation initiatives within a large-scale transport and enterprise environment.

This is a high-profile opportunity for a delivery-focused Project Manager who can provide strong governance, manage competing priorities and confidently engage with senior stakeholders across business, technology, vendors and delivery teams.

The Role

You will take ownership of projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, schedule and budget. You will work across a range of technology initiatives, including infrastructure, cloud, cyber security and broader enterprise transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology and business transformation projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
• Develop and manage project plans, governance frameworks, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors and delivery resources to achieve project outcomes.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify issues and implement corrective actions where required.
• Prepare clear project reporting and executive-level updates.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Support delivery across infrastructure, cloud, cyber security and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Manage competing priorities within a complex and highly visible environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery practices, governance and processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 7+ years' experience in project delivery, with at least 3 years in a Senior Project Manager or similar role.
• Proven experience delivering complex projects within government, transport or large enterprise environments.
• Strong technology and business transformation project experience.
• Exposure to infrastructure, cloud, cyber security or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Strong project governance, planning, budgeting, risk and dependency management skills.
• Experience managing vendors, delivery teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience working across Waterfall, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or hybrid delivery environments.

Desirable

• Experience within the transport or public sector.
• Previous experience working with large systems integrators or managed service providers.
• PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Australian citizenship.
