About the Role
The College is seeking a full-time Italian Teacher to join its Languages team from Term 1, 2027.
This is a full Italian teaching load, meaning candidates do not need a second teaching method. The successful teacher will be passionate about language learning and confident creating engaging lessons that develop students’ Italian language skills, cultural understanding and confidence.
Skills and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Italian lessons.

Teach a full Italian load with no second method required.

Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

Create opportunities for students to engage with Italian language and culture.

Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support learning.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and classroom practice.

Collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider College community.
Requirements

Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain VIT

Relevant secondary teaching qualifications

Ability to teach Italian across secondary year levels

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Willingness to support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the College
