This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing development company and gain exposure to all commercial aspects of a live residential project. The successful candidate will work closely with senior commercial and project teams, assisting with cost management, procurement, valuations, and financial reporting throughout the project life-cycle.
The current development has approximately two years remaining, with further long-term opportunities available on future projects within the business thereafter. This role would suit an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a stable and expanding organisation.
The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, receiving ongoing support and guidance while developing their commercial and technical skills.

Responsibilities
- Assist with project cost control and budget management
- Support the preparation of valuations and payment applications
- Monitor subcontractor accounts and variations
- Assist with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare and maintain commercial project documentation
- Support cost reporting and forecasting activities
- Review drawings and specifications for commercial implications
- Liaise with site, design, and commercial teams
- Assist with final account preparation and agreement
- Ensure commercial records are maintained accurately
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- 1- 3 years' quantity surveying experience
- Experience within construction, developer, or consultancy environments
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good understanding of construction contracts and cost control
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
