About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Sunday (3 12-hour shifts per week)
- Hours: 11am to 11pm
- Setting: Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and critical conditions in an emergency setting
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and triage incoming patients
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to support differential diagnoses and treatment decisions
- Perform acute procedures such as suturing, fracture reduction, splinting, and foreign body removal, and assist with airway management or resuscitation as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to implement care plans, facilitate discharges, and arrange admissions
Qualifications:
- Active Missouri Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Eligible or Certified in Emergency Medicine
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
Desired Skills:
- Experience using EPIC EMR
