HSE Advisor | Manufacturing | Canning Vale, Perth

Are you an experienced HSE Advisor, WHS Advisor, or Safety Advisor looking for a new opportunity within a national manufacturing company?

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturing business with operations across the country. They are currently seeking a motivated and experienced HSE Advisor to join their close-knit team in Canning Vale, Perth on a permanent full-time basis.

Offering a competitive salary of $130,000 + Superannuation, this Monday to Friday role provides the opportunity to make a genuine impact on workplace safety while supporting a growing manufacturing operation. Occasional interstate travel will be required to support national sites and projects.

This position is ideal for a safety professional with a strong manufacturing background, proven project management experience, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing.

The Role Reporting to the leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing health, safety, and environmental practices across the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Driving a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across manufacturing operations
• Conducting workplace inspections, audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments
• Investigating incidents, near misses, and injuries while implementing corrective actions
• Developing, reviewing, and maintaining HSE policies, procedures, and systems
• Delivering safety training, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives
• Leading and supporting HSE improvement projects across multiple sites
• Ensuring compliance with Australian WHS legislation and industry standards
• Monitoring and reporting on safety performance metrics and trends
• Supporting contractor management and site compliance requirements
• Collaborating with managers and operational teams to continuously improve workplace safety outcomes

About You To be successful in this HSE Advisor job in Perth, you will possess:

• A minimum Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety
• At least 4-5 years of experience in an HSE, WHS, or Safety Advisor role
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
• Project management experience with the ability to lead safety initiatives and business improvement projects
• Strong knowledge of Australian Workplace Health and Safety legislation
• Experience undertaking investigations, audits, and risk assessments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to safety leadership
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Willingness to travel interstate on occasion
