About the Role
The APAC Managing Director reports to the Global Executive Team, with P&L responsibility for the organisation's operations across Australia and Vietnam. This position is responsible for high-level strategy, general management, and hands-on operational leadership. The primary mandate is commercial: developing and executing a regional growth strategy, identifying and converting new business opportunities, and deepening existing client relationships. The successful leader will drive market-informed competitive positioning across the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract negotiation. Operationally, the role encompasses complete business unit oversight. The role bridges strategic vision with daily execution, running the business efficiently, ensuring regulatory compliance, stablishing the structured processes and leadership required to realise tangible delivery outcomes across a distributed, cross-cultural workforce.
About You
An entrepreneurially minded and accomplished senior leader with general management and business development expertise, you have held direct accountability for B2B sales, revenue growth, operations and tangible delivery outcomes. Experience operating offshore delivery centres is essential, along with a clear understanding of the commercial, strategic, and operational realities of leading distributed, cross-cultural teams. You bring highly organised, structured thinking to your work, allowing you to seamlessly set priorities, establish clear execution frameworks, and see them through. A track record of identifying and closing multi-million-dollar opportunities is expected, with the confidence to perform equally well in a boardroom negotiation as when reviewing a P&L or assessing a delivery pipeline. You possess the unique ability to build and grow a business while simultaneously running its operational engine. Self-directed and focused on measurable results, your communication and negotiation skills are strong and the relationships you build with clients and colleagues are enduring.
