FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager on behalf of a well-established mechanical contractor specialising in the delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across Dublin.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion. Working closely with engineering, operations, site teams and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work in the commercial and fit-out sphere, delivering a diverse range of commercial mechanical projects across Dublin.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project programmes, resource plans and project delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers throughout each project.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and overall project performance.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress updates.
  • Support collaboration across engineering, operations and supply chain teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in a Project Management role, ideally in the Irish or UK construction industry.
  • Mechanical contracting or building services experience is essential.
  • Experience delivering commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting and resource management.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Engineering or Construction Management qualification is desirable.
  • Full Irish driving licence.
