Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to support warehouse inventory operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position is responsible for maintaining clean and organized automation zones, monitoring inventory accuracy, removing damaged materials, and assisting with general inventory control activities.
The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment with varying temperature conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of automation and induction zones.
- Remove dirty trays and damaged materials from designated work areas.
- Perform inventory control functions to support warehouse operations.
- Accurately identify, record, and report damaged inventory.
- Follow inventory procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Operate basic machinery and warehouse equipment as trained.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with additional inventory-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in multiple temperature-controlled environments, including:
- Dry Warehouse
- Cooler
- Freezer
- Ability to operate basic warehouse machinery and tools after training.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures.
Preferred
- Previous experience in:
- Inventory Control
- Warehouse Operations
- Distribution
- Food Distribution
- Maintenance or Janitorial roles
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work independently.
Work Environment
- 100% onsite warehouse environment.
- Work will be performed in dry, refrigerated, and freezer areas.
- Physically active role requiring frequent standing, walking, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
- No travel or weekend work is expected.
