We're looking for a reliable Storeman for an ongoing role at a busy production site in Yandina. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants stable hours, a proper team, and the chance to settle in long-term.
Why you'll want this one:
- $35 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm. No weekends. No public holidays.
- Stable income with guaranteed hours
- Training, uniforms, and ticketing provided for the right candidate
- Ongoing position with a stable production team
What you'll be doing:
- Operating a forklift across the yard and warehouse
- Quality checks on inventory
- Strapping and packing stock onto delivery trucks
- Manual lifting
- Loading and unloading orders, customer service at the gate
- Getting on and off the forklift throughout the shift to load dunnage between product
- Reporting discrepancies and supporting the Production team
What you'll need:
- Current LF (forklift) licence
- Manual driver's licence preferred but not essential
- Reliable, professional attitude, strong work ethic
- Able to work under pressure and handle ad hoc tasks
- Good attention to detail, English, and numerical skills
- Physically fit and happy jumping on and off the forklift through the day
- Steel cap boots and your own transport to site
- PPE compliance: the role requires a properly fitted face mask as part of standard safety procedures. To achieve a safe seal, you'll need to be clean shaven for each shift.
