SAP Senior Project Manager

This is a high-profile role suited to a senior project delivery professional who has successfully led complex SAP-enabled transformations and can confidently operate across executive stakeholders, vendors and multidisciplinary technical teams.

About the RoleAs the Enabling Technology Lead, you will be accountable for the successful planning, governance and delivery of a complex technology work package, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to agreed business outcomes.

You will provide leadership across multiple technology streams, including:

• SAP S/4HANA
• Enterprise systems integration
• Data migration
• Testing and quality assurance
• Release and deployment management
• Cutover planning
• Transition to operations

Working within a large-scale transformation environment, you will coordinate delivery teams, technical specialists, vendors and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across the full project lifecycle.
• Manage governance, reporting, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource forecasts.
• Lead vendors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Drive solution delivery, testing, deployment and go-live activities.
• Manage executive stakeholder engagement and governance forums.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and organisational standards.
• Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior leadership.

About You To be successful, you will bring:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager delivering large-scale ICT and business transformation programs.
• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP implementations.
• Strong project governance, financial management and risk management capability.
• Demonstrated success leading complex enterprise technology initiatives across multiple stakeholders and delivery partners.
• Experience managing large project teams, vendors and external suppliers.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly Desirable Experience

• Supply chain, logistics or warehousing environments
• Distribution or inventory management systems
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience
• Large enterprise or government transformation programs
• PRINCE2, PMP or Agile Project Management certification
