Group IT Manager

We’re partnering with a well-established, multi-site organisation to appoint a Group IT Manager - a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering enterprise-wide technology strategy across operations, supply chain, sales, and corporate functions.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the executive leadership team, you will take ownership of the IT function - ensuring robust service delivery while driving innovation and continuous improvement.
You will balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, bringing structure, governance, and commercial discipline to the IT landscape while identifying opportunities to unlock greater value through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the organisation’s IT strategy to support growth and operational excellence
• Ensure high-quality, reliable IT service delivery across multiple sites
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business priorities
• Drive optimisation and adoption of platforms such as Microsoft D365, Power BI, and CRM
• Oversee IT projects end-to-end, including governance, timelines, and stakeholder engagement
• Manage vendor relationships and commercial outcomes to maximise value
• Champion cyber security awareness and risk mitigation practices
• Identify and implement emerging technologies (e.g. AI, automation) to enhance capability
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation 

About You
You are an experienced IT leader who combines technical depth with strong commercial and stakeholder acumen. You’re comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels and have a proven ability to influence across all levels of a business.
You will bring:

• Experience leading IT within a multi-site or complex operational environment
• Strong expertise across Microsoft ecosystems (O365, D365, Power BI, CRM)
• A track record of delivering IT strategy aligned to business outcomes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong commercial judgement and vendor management capability
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to drive change
