Team Lead – Corporate Banking RM (Japanese Corporates)

A leading international bank is looking for an experienced relationship manager to lead a team covering Japanese multinational corporate clients, with a focus on the real estate sector and close coordination with counterparts in Tokyo.

The Role

• Lead and manage a team responsible for relationship management of Japanese multinational corporates, driving service quality and sustainable growth
• Develop strategies to deepen existing relationships and win new business, maximising portfolio profitability
• Oversee credit risk analysis, credit proposal preparation, documentation, and facility setup in line with internal and regulatory standards
• Drive execution of complex transactions, coordinating with product, risk, and operations teams
• Act as key liaison with overseas branches (particularly Japan), Head Office, and internal departments to deliver integrated financial solutions
• Mentor and develop junior team members

What You'll Need

• 7+ years in corporate banking, with strong relationship management and leadership experience
• Solid understanding of capital markets, corporate banking products, and credit analysis
• Proven track record managing Japanese multinational clients, with an established network among relevant corporate and financial stakeholders in Japan.
• Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese, required to communicate effectively with Japanese multinational clients and coordinate with counterparts in Japan.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
