We're seeking an Assembler to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling commercial vehicle mirror systems from individual components, including mirror housings, wiring, and electronic components. You'll also help prepare completed products for shipment by kitting and moving finished products to their designated areas.What You'll Be DoingAs an Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:-Mirror Assembly: Assemble commercial vehicle mirrors by installing housings, wires, electronic components, and other components according to established procedures and specifications.-Quality Inspection: Inspect assembled components throughout the production process to ensure parts are properly installed, connected, and meet quality standards.-Kitting Packaging: Organize and kit completed mirror assemblies and prepare finished products for the next stage of production or shipping.-Material Handling: Move components, kits, and finished products to designated areas while maintaining an organized and efficient production flow.-In addition, you will also be expected to follow production instructions, maintain a clean and safe workstation, communicate quality or production issues to leadership, and follow all company safety and quality procedures.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to learn and follow detailed assembly instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to stand for the duration of the shiftAbility to regularly lift and move 40–50 lbs. throughout the shiftGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSkills:-Assembly: Ability to work with small components, wiring, electronic components, and mechanical parts while following established procedures.-Attention to Detail: Ability to recognize improperly installed components and ensure finished products meet quality expectations.-Material Handling: Comfortable moving components and finished products throughout the production area.-Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors while contributing to production goals.-Work Ethic: Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn new processes and responsibilities.What We're Looking For in a Candidate-The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with their hands.
