Powder Coating Operator

Powder Coat Laborer - Bring precision, pride, and color to every part!
Location: Mentor, OH
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6 am-430pm
Pay: $17-$20/hour DOE

We're looking for a Powder Coating Laborer who enjoys hands-on work, pays attention to detail , and wants to be part of a team that values quality, safety, and craftsmanship.

What You'll Do

• Pretreat, clean, mask, prime, and powder coat a variety of parts

• Load and hang parts correctly to maximize line capacity

• Apply powder using an electrostatic paint gun

• Perform quality checks, including first-piece, in-process, and final inspections

• Change hanging patterns and manage color changeovers

• Plug, tape, sand, and correct parts as needed

• Use measuring tools to ensure precision and consistency

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment

• Follow all safety policies and OSHA standards
  Lifting, bending, and moving around throughout your shift

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED

• 1+ year of powder coating or related manufacturing experience (or equivalent combination of training and education)

• Knowledge of powder coating processes and paint line functionality preferred

• Ability to read basic blueprints and specifications

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills

• Experience managing or tracking inventory is a plus

• Basic computer skills

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Heavy Labor - Must be able to lift 35-40lbs
