Seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained Interventional Neurologist to join our leading and growing practice in Des Moines, IA. This role offers the opportunity to expand our IV neurology service line within a collaborative team, supported by a strong referral network serving a population of 1.4 million. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical expertise and a passion for program growth, thriving in a collaborative, team environment.

  • Join a team of 12 Physicians and 4 APPs
  • Thrombectomy call coverage 1:3
  • Over 1000 annual stroke cases
  • 160+ annual Thrombectomies
  • Building a new and dedicated Neuro IR Suite
  • Onsite support: dedicated Neurohospitalists, Neurosurgery
  • Opportunity for elective aneurysm cases
  • Opportunity to teach residents and medical students

Group is an integrated multispecialty practice with a statewide referral network. Our team of 12 neurologists and 4 advanced practice providers manages the full spectrum of neurological conditions across all subspecialties. We are a Joint Commission–certified Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center and opportunities exist for outreach and tele-neurology services. Our comprehensive practice collaborates closely with Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Pain Medicine. Team also serves as faculty for residents (Family Medicine, Psychiatry, and Internal Medicine) and Des Moines University medical students.

Opportunity Details

  • Base Salary: $710,456
  • Recruitment incentive: $150,000
  • Moving allowance up to $15,000
  • Annual CME Allowance: $6,000
