The Opportunity
Our client, a leading global facilities management organization, is seeking an experienced Transition Senior Project Manager (PMO) to join their UK&I Transition Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised project professional to lead complex mobilisation, retention and transformation programmes, ensuring successful delivery from planning through to operational execution.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will drive governance, project controls, reporting, risk management and programme delivery across multiple high-profile contracts and business change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mobilisation, retention and growth projects across the UK&I business
- Develop and maintain robust project plans to support successful contract mobilisation and transition
- Drive governance, project controls and best practice project management methodologies
- Manage multiple project workstreams, dependencies, timelines and deliverables
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout project lifecycles
- Monitor project performance through KPI reporting, risk management and progress tracking
- Chair project meetings, facilitate decision-making and ensure action completion
- Maintain RAID logs and ensure risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies are proactively managed
- Manage project documentation and reporting to senior leadership teams
- Support budget management and programme funding proposals
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to operational excellence initiatives
- Capture lessons learned and implement best practices across future programmes
About You
We're looking for an experienced project management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across complex business transformation programmes.
You will have:
- Degree qualification or professional accreditation such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent
- Proven Project Management experience (ideally 3+ years)
- Ideally have experience working within facilities management, outsourcing, workplace services or a similar operational environment
- Strong understanding of mobilisation, transition or business change programmes
- Experience using project management tools such as MS Project and/or Monday.com
- Commercial awareness and understanding of contract delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong reporting, data analysis and presentation capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
