The Role


As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be based in a state-of-the-art facility in Limerick and play a key role in bringing precision-engineered products to life. Working as part of a skilled team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing high-quality mechanical systems while ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assemble mechanical components, machines, and systems to exact specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Carry out quality inspections and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all health and safety procedures.


The Person

Requirements


  • Experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • A Mechanical Fitter qualification or similar technical qualification is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new processes and techniques.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
