Key Responsibilities
- Support with the company's budget process, including stakeholder liaison and maintenance of budget templates
- Assist with general budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform bank reconciliations for a small entity
- Prepare and post journals, including fortnightly payroll journals
- Review and approve weekly payment runs
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with levy calculations
- Provide day-to-day financial operations support
- Contribute to ad hoc finance tasks as required
- Strong Excel skills (advanced level)
- Solid accounting fundamentals with proven experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using Xero
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal stakeholders
