In this role, the Supervisor of Social Services will be responsible for focusing on leadership in a supportive housing program serving adults with complex needs, including staff oversight without direct caseload responsibilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
- Setting: Supportive Housing Program
Responsibilities:
- Staff supervision and development
- Documentation and compliance oversight
- Crisis management and case conferences
- Program operations and reporting
- Community and mission alignment
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), LMSW, or LCSW
- Experience with Homeless and Mental Health populations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills
- Documentation skills
- Ability to lead and supervise
- Problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and/or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
