About the Roles Working within an experienced People & Culture team, you'll provide practical HR and / OR IR support across a major project. Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing HR and/or IR advice to managers and employees across a large blue and white-collar workforce.
- Interpreting and applying employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Supporting employee relations matters including performance management, misconduct, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
- Managing industrial relations matters, workplace compliance and stakeholder engagement.
- Preparing employment contracts, correspondence and HR documentation.
- Supporting workforce mobilisation, onboarding and HR administration activities.
- Partnering with leaders to deliver practical people solutions and coaching.
- Assisting with HR initiatives, culture programs and continuous improvement projects.
- Delivering HR and IR training to leaders and employees.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
- Experience in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Employee Relations.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act.
- Experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business, Law or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
