Packer / Kit Assembler

A McKean, PA manufacturing company is looking for a Packer/Kit Assembler to prepare and package components according to customer orders and specifications. This position involves counting parts, checking for quality, assembling kits, labeling packages, and keeping accurate production records. Candidates with electronics soldering experience are also encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Assemble kits by gathering the correct parts and materials according to production instructions

  • Inspect components for quality and verify part numbers, labels, and quantities

  • Bag, seal, label, and package parts according to customer specifications

  • Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records of completed work

  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and putting stock away as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count and inspect parts

  • Good manual dexterity for handling small components

  • Ability to follow written instructions and meet production requirements

  • Basic computer skills for production tracking and data entry

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team

  • Electronics soldering experience is a plus

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Benefits/Compensation

  • 1st shift 7-3:30p M-F

  • $17/hr  

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
