Language Teacher (Mandarin) - Fixed Contract

At Toorak College our Languages Program aims to build cultural and intercultural awareness, inspire academic growth and provide future pathways beyond school. 

This is a full-time fixed contract position for Term 4, 2026, providing long service leave cover, with the possibility of CRT opportunities beyond the contract period. Teaching allocations including classes and year levels will be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience and the operational needs of the School. Experience teaching Mandarin across Years 5-9 will be highly regarded.

You are passionate about teaching language and fostering intercultural understanding through dynamic and engaging classroom practice, whilst effortlessly adapting your teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Experience teaching International students within the mainstream classroom is considered advantageous.
