About the Role As an HD Fitter, you’ll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs of a large fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment.

You’ll work as part of an experienced maintenance team, carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance to keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently.

What We’re Looking For
  • Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter / HD Fitter
  • Previous mining experience is essential
  • Strong experience working on large-scale mining equipment / big yellow
  • Experience with heavy mobile mining equipment
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with servicing, component change-outs and preventative maintenance
  • Strong understanding of mining site safety procedures
  • Reliable and committed to a 2:1 FIFO roster
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Current Australian working rights
