IT Project Management Specialist Sr

Overview

Client is seeking a Project Manager to manage, support, and deliver project assignments through completion. This role will support BI/DW development, infrastructure upgrade projects, data analysis, project documentation, customer satisfaction measurement, trend reporting, and cross-functional project coordination.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage project assignments from planning through completion.
• Identify required resources and research project data, procedures, and history to understand project direction.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage project plans through completion.
• Manage multiple projects as the sole Project Manager.
• Support project management and coordination across BI/DW development and infrastructure upgrade initiatives.
• Work with various functional teams to drive project execution.
• Provide data analysis, including identifying and recognizing trends across multiple offices for national client operations.
• Monitor and assess data for accuracy and integrity.
• Communicate project activity and progress to involved parties.
• Assist Program Managers with issue resolution.
• Deliver oral and written presentations of project results.
• Provide training to colleagues as needed.
• Help transition programs as needed.
• Support organizational quality programs.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• Project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects as the sole Project Manager.
• Experience with complex projects.
• Experience working in Waterfall methodology.
• Project management and coordination experience in BI/DW development and infrastructure upgrades.
• Experience working with various functional teams.
• Knowledge of data analysis.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Analytical and interpretive skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Work Details

• Contract-to-hire position.
• Preferred locations: Memphis, TN or Irving, TX.
• Open to remote if needed.
• Hybrid if candidate lives near or in Memphis, TN or Irving, TX.
• Hybrid schedule: 1 day per week in the office.
• Travel as required.
