Introduction:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as the Sales & Business Development Leader.

This role is crucial for driving the sustainable growth and market dominance of our products in Japan. If you have a strong background in sales, marketing, or business development within the construction machinery, civil engineering, or mining industries, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.


About the Role:

As the Sales & Business Development Leader, you will report to the General Manager for Japan & Korea.

You will be responsible for leading sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving divisional sales and profit targets. This position is based in Yokohama, Japan, and offers flexible working conditions, including the option to work from home up to three days per week.

A flex time system is also scheduled to start in July.


Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Profit Targets: Achieve and exceed divisional sales and profit targets.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare materials once or twice per year.
  • Business Participation: Participate in and explain the business in Japan to the division.
  • Inventory Control: Manage the inventory of Tools & Attachment products.
  • Monthly Meetings: Conduct monthly meetings with the Regional Business Manager.
  • Strategy and Market Survey: Develop strategies and conduct market surveys.
  • KPI Management: Establish and manage KPIs.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with Business Line Managers and other regional managers.
  • Pricing: Set and manage pricing strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Language: Native or fluent in Japanese, with at least intermediate English skills and a motivation to improve.
  • Competencies: Strong strategic thinking, planning, and leadership skills.
