About the Opportunity
Our client is a highly regarded and well-established business within the transport and logistics sector. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced MC Sideloader Driver to join their team on the PM shift.
This is an ongoing casual position with a genuine view to permanent employment for the right person.
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 4:00PM – 4:00AM
Employment: Ongoing casual with view to permanent

This is an ongoing casual position with a genuine view to permanent employment for the right person.

Employment: Ongoing casual with view to permanent
Start: Immediate start available
Reporting to the Fleet Allocators, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Operating a sideloader safely and efficiently
- Completing container transport and wharf cartage movements
- Safely operating fleet throughout your shift
- Completing all required transport documentation
- Communicating effectively with fleet allocators, customers and other parties
- Conducting relevant pre-start and safety checks
- Minimal manual handling
- Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle/work environment
- Adhering to company procedures, fatigue management and safety requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:
- Current MC Driver's Licence
- Previous sideloader experience – highly regarded
- Experience within container transport / wharf cartage
- Current MSIC – advantageous
- Strong understanding of transport and safety requirements
- Ability to work confidently and independently throughout the PM shift
- Good communication skills
- Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced transport operation
