Opportunities may include a variety of shifts, clients and transport operations, with competitive hourly rates and immediate starts available.
Reporting to the Fleet Allocator, your duties may include:
- Safely operating vehicles throughout your shift
- Completing required paperwork, run sheets and documentation accurately
- Communicating professionally with Fleet Allocators, customers and other parties
- Completing relevant pre-start checks
- Maintaining compliance with road, fatigue and workplace safety requirements
- Ensuring equipment is operated safely and responsibly
- Representing both AIM and our clients professionally while on site
We are looking for experienced operators who can hit the ground running. Ideally, you will have:
- A current and valid driver's licence relevant to the position
- Previous experience within transport, container cartage and/or similar operations
- A good driving history
- Strong safety awareness and understanding of compliance requirements
- Excellent reliability and time management
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Current MSIC – highly advantageous
- Sideloader and/or wharf cartage experience will be highly regarded for relevant assignments
- Competitive hourly rates
- Work with some of Melbourne's most highly regarded transport carriers
- Ongoing OR ad hoc assignments – you choose!
