Summary
Perform short production runs from start to finish, operate manual machines, read blueprints and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

Job Duties

  • Complete short production runs from beginning to end, including setup, operation and completion of parts.
  • Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Operate manual machines to produce simple, quality parts.
  • Look for ways to improve processes and reduce setup and cycle times.
  • Deburr and complete parts when production time permits.
  • Perform daily 5S activities to keep the work area clean, safe and organized.
  • Follow production schedules and complete work on time.
  • Meet established productivity, utilization, quality, scrap and rework goals.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures.
  • Perform other duties within your skill set as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
