Yard Worker – Pipe Company

Job Summary:
The Yard Worker is responsible for supporting daily operations in the pipe yard by handling, organizing, and maintaining inventory of pipes and related materials. This role ensures safe, efficient loading and unloading of products and helps keep the yard clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload pipes, fittings, and materials using forklifts, cranes, or by hand

• Sort, stage, and organize pipe inventory by size, type, and order requirements

• Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and damage

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the yard, including removing debris and hazards

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

• Operate yard equipment safely and report any maintenance issues

Requirements:

• Experience in a warehouse, yard, or construction environment is a plus

• Ability to lift heavy materials (often 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  *Steel Toe Shoes Required*

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work environment exposed to heat, cold, and weather conditions

• Physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods

• May involve early mornings, overtime, or weekend work depending on workload
