We are currently seeking experienced Fitters and Shift Fitters to join a well-established South Australian manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically minded tradespeople who enjoy fault finding, preventative maintenance and keeping production moving.
The Opportunity You will play an important role in maintaining production equipment and ensuring plant reliability across a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidates will have previous manufacturing experience and be confident working across both breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance

Key Responsibilities
- Perform breakdown maintenance and fault finding across manufacturing equipment and plant.
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
- Work closely with production teams to respond to equipment issues and keep operations running.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance while working in a production environment.
- Trade qualified Fitter / Mechanical Fitter with relevant qualifications.
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
- Strong breakdown and preventative maintenance experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify faults efficiently.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a maintenance team.
- Attractive hourly rate + super on a casual basis.
