We are seeking reliable and physically fit Machine Operators to join their steel and reinforcing bar manufacturing workshop in Bassendean.
These are hands-on roles operating and assisting with manufacturing machinery in a busy workshop environment.
Previous machine-operating or manufacturing experience would be advantageous; however, candidates with the right attitude, strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and monitor steel reinforcing bar manufacturing machinery
- Load steel coil and unload materials from machines
- Measure, inspect and handle manufactured products
- Assist with machine setup and basic adjustments
- Identify and report machine or product issues
- Complete repetitive manual-handling tasks, including lifting up to 15 kg
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work closely with other operators and production team members
- Follow site procedures, production requirements and safe work practices
- Complete other general workshop duties as required
- Physically fit and comfortable completing repetitive manual work
- Able to safely lift and handle items weighing up to 15 kg
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Willing and able to learn how to operate manufacturing machinery
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and committed to every rostered shift
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a workshop or factory environment
- Able to follow instructions and committed to workplace safety
- Available to work consistently on either the AM or PM shift
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- Full working rights in Australia
- Reliable transport to and from the Bassendean site
- Consistent availability for the selected shift
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role
- $40.00 per hour plus applicable penalties
- Weekly pay
- Choice of AM or PM shift, subject to availability
