A growing manufacturing operation is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team! This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who can set up and operate CNC equipment and has experience with Mastercam, SolidWorks, blueprint reading, and GD&T.

Opportunity to work with precision machining and custom tooling
What You'll Do
-
Set up, adjust, and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and other precision machining equipment

Program CNC equipment using Mastercam
-
Use SolidWorks and CAD/CAM software to review models and create machining programs

Upload programs and make necessary machine adjustments

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
-
Set up fixtures, tooling, cutting tools, and workholding
-
Machine metal components to precise specifications and tolerances
-
Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments

Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues
-
Monitor machine operation, lubrication, and coolant
-
Create or modify fixtures, tooling, and specialty production equipment

Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supervisory teams

Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, efficiency, and quality

Maintain CNC machines and equipment in proper operating condition
What We're Looking For
-
3+ years of CNC Machinist experience
-
CNC programming experience strongly preferred
-
Experience with Mastercam and/or SolidWorks
-
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills

Experience machining metal products
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to use precision measuring equipment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to troubleshoot problems and perform root-cause analysis

Professional machining training or certifications preferred

SAP and Microsoft Office experience a plus
