You will be responsible for testing and validating new payroll systems through tailored test scenarios, conducting thorough analysis during parallel runs, validating data integrity, and ensuring compliance with current legislative standards. Your expertise will help safeguard the accuracy of wage calculations, taxes, and superannuation, contributing to a smooth transition to new payroll platforms.

Key skills include hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing within Australia and New Zealand, proven success supporting payroll system implementations or upgrades, and a solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, especially VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, combined with strong analytical abilities, are essential. You should also possess excellent stakeholder communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in payroll processing or testing. Familiarity with payroll software such as ADP or Ramco and experience conducting parallel runs will be beneficial. Candidates with a background in data validation, system configuration, and compliance with awards and legislative standards will stand out.


This role offers remote working flexibility, with occasional office visits in Melbourne, subject to project needs. The contract duration is six months, making it a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a key organisational upgrade.
