Legal Assistant / Paralegal – Family Law
The Opportunity We are partnering with a highly regarded boutique family law firm in the Perth CBD to recruit an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal. This is an exciting opportunity to support a respected Director with a busy and varied practice, while joining a collaborative team that genuinely values its support staff. You'll become part of an established family law team where your contribution will make a real difference.
The Role
Supporting a senior practitioner, you will work across a broad range of family law matters, including financial settlements, children's matters, legal aid, private client work and trial preparation. While your primary focus will be supporting one Director, you will also work closely with the wider team to ensure matters run smoothly.
  • Your responsibilities will include: Diary and email management
  • Preparing legal documents and court documentation
  • File management from commencement through to completion
  • Liaising with clients, courts and third parties
  • Preparing briefs and trial documents
  • General legal administration and paralegal support
About You
To be successful, you will have: Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal within a law firm|||Family law experience will be highly regarded|||Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload|||Excellent attention to detail and communication skills|||A proactive, team-focused approach and the confidence to support a senior practitioner
