Responsibilities and Duties
As the Junior IT Solutions Officer, you will:
- Provide first-line support for business applications and technology systems.
- Troubleshoot and assist with resolving software, application, and system-related issues.
- Support system testing, upgrades, implementations, and technology enhancements.
- Assist with user account administration and access management activities.
- Deliver technical support and guidance to employees across the organisation.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, and system records.
- Contribute to IT projects, digital transformation initiatives, and process improvement activities.
- Liaise with external vendors and support cybersecurity, compliance, business continuity, and onboarding activities.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Between 1 and 3 years of IT experience, or be a recent graduate with relevant internships or project experience.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and business systems would be advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A good understanding of business applications and technology systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- The ability to work independently, collaborate within a team, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
