The Opportunity
Our clients venue is a true hospitality hub within their community, recognised as a an all-day eatery and events space.
The venue serves guests from 7am through breakfast, seamlessly flowing into lunch and dinner service.
This role will be split between events and restaurant service, allowing a Chef to work independently when focused on calendar events, and work within a large kitchen team for restaurant service.
With a growing demand for functions and events, our client has created a role that will require a professional who will thrive taking ownership and influencing menu design.
You will be exposed to relevant cost controllables, ordering, daily planning schedules and event run sheets, and managing food preparation.

The Candidate
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in restaurant, hotels, or high volume cafes is essential
- Confident working independently while remaining collaborative during planning stages
- Flexible and adaptable within a dynamic events schedule
- Passionate about delivering memorable dishes across varied formats and service styles
